2-1-1 Information & Referral Service
2-1-1 information and referral services are free and operate 24 hours 7 days a week. Calls are private and confidential; however, you do not need to identify yourself to get information. Most 2-1-1s also have community resource information available online with searchable databases or listings.
2-1-1 Information and Referral Specialists assist callers in finding help with a wide range of needs. These include, but are not limited to:
- Food Assistance
- Emergency and low-income housing
- Emergency financial assistance
- Employment
- Free and low-cost health, vision and dental care
- Information about human services agencies
- Mental health and addiction services
- Support groups
- Domestic violence resources
- Suicide prevention
