Overview

As a Regional Council of Governments as registered with the Ohio Auditor of State in accordance with Chapter 167 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging (COAAA) is required to conduct all contract procurement for goods and services, and sale of property in a manner consistent with Ohio Revised Code Chapters 153, 167, and 307, Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 173-3-05 and US 2 C.F.R. 200.318 to 200.3270 and 2 C.F.R. Compensation Market Analysis and Classification Validation Study

The Regional Council of Governments – Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging (RCOG-COAAA) invites qualified consulting firms to submit proposals to conduct a two-phase Compensation Market Analysis and Classification Validation Study.

The RCOG-COAAA's immediate need is to obtain current and reliable market compensation information regarding its existing salary grades and pay ranges. This information is needed
to assist the organization in evaluating its current compensation structure, informing the upcoming annual budget process, and providing the Board of Directors with timely information regarding the competitiveness of compensation within the organization.

The RCOG-COAAA intends to structure this engagement in two phases. Phase 1 will focus primarily on obtaining current market pay data and comparing the RCOG-COAAA's existing salary grades and pay ranges to appropriate external labor markets and comparable Area Agencies on Aging. Phase 1 is the immediate priority of the organization and must be completed on an accelerated timeline.

Phase 2 will provide a more comprehensive evaluation of the organization's compensation program and classification structure. This phase would build upon the market data collected in Phase 1 and could address broader issues such as internal equity, classification validation, salary structure design, compensation philosophy, and long-term salary administration.

The RCOG-COAAA may elect to proceed with Phase 2 following completion and review of Phase 1. The RCOG-COAAA is under no obligation to proceed with Phase 2, and the decision to authorize Phase 2 will be made at the organization's sole discretion based upon its needs, priorities, and available resources.

The following providers have been selected as Coordinators of the Older Americans Act Title III E National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP) for their respective counties for Program Years 2026 and 2027.

Notice of Funding Awarded for Older Americans Act Title III Services (posted 10-11-23)

The Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging is pleased to announce funding awarded for Older Americans Act Title III services and programs to providers in our eight-county region. Funds were awarded to 23 providers for the four-year program cycle beginning January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2027.

Notice of Funding Awarded for Alzheimer’s Respite Services (posted 6-15-23)

On April 10, 2023, COAAA posted a Notice of Funding to announce the availability of funding for Alzheimer’s Respite programs. These funds will be awarded annually for the four-year period from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2027. Approximately $138,691 in funding for Alzheimer’s Services is available for Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties. Allocation amounts are based on the projected state budget and are subject to change. Proposals were submitted by Friday, May 5, 2023. Funding awards were made to the following organizations:
